People who have already passed away stand out in the traditional category of the Grammy Awards, but many young and energetic musicians are active in contemporary. Among them, the master Buddy Guy is regretfully demonstrating his ability even in contemporary. In the Grammy Awards category, B.B.King was overwhelmingly popular and won 10 times, followed by Buddy Guy's 6 times. Next, looking at the total number of Grammy Awards and Blues Music Awards, I'm glad that Buddy Guy is overwhelmingly popular and he's still active. Koko Taylor, B.B.King, Albert Collins, Etta Jimes, Pinetop Perkins who were active. .. .. It is lonely that many have passed away, but young people born after the 1950s, Robert Cray, Curtis Salgado, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Keb Mo, Shemekia Copeland, Tab Benoit, Janiva Magness, Tommy Castro, Victor I'm glad that Wainwright and others are also active.

40 blues albums that influenced readers
from 1958 to 1999
In the fall of 1999, 10 blues albums that seemed to have influenced or widely influenced readers were listed and sent, and the total was counted up to the 40th place. All the albums from 1958 onwards. The number of subscribers to Bruce Review magazine, the number of people who answered the questionnaire, etc. are unknown and the reliability is unknown, but I feel that the album, which is also evaluated in Japan, is reasonable.

2000-2010, Best Blues Album 25
Well, it's a recent story. The 25 best announcements for the 10 years from 2000 to 2010 were announced in the Blues Revue No122, February & March 2010 merger issue. I will quote the article. In this era, the impression is different from the blues before the 1970s. I feel that Buddy Guy himself has changed a lot. In addition, Otis Tayor, North Mississippi Allstars, Corey Harris, blues rock Tommy Castro and Kenny Wayne Shepherd stand out.
