This homepage is a revised version of the Japanese version of the blues catalog and updated to the English version..

 

When we read magazines and books about blues, we read comments such as "He was amazing" and "He was excellent at playing the guitar". But for old blues musicians who have never heard music, we don't know the image. For such a time, I collected blues musician’s Youtube videos so that I could imagine what kind of musician he or she was. Introducing a wide range of blues musicians such as blues, blues rock, relaxing blues, contemporary, zydeco, boogie woogie, and folk blues.

 

 

 

Chapter １ 　　All Blues Musicians

The reasons for choosing as a blues musician are as follows.

All 600 musicians are listed in The Big Book of Blues written by Robert Santelli, and I have listed more than 1000 blues musicians from BLUES REVUE magazine (currently BLUES MUSIC MAGAZINE), LIVING BLUES magazine, purchased CDs, youtube, etc.  There are around 1600 people in total. Most of them are American musicians, but there are another blues musicians in Europe and South America, so I would like to list them. However, I need a collaborator to list the blues musicians.

 

Chapter ２  Popular Blues Musicians

In this chapter, I chose the following blues musicians.

1) Musicians who have been seen more than 300,000 times on YOUTUBE

2) Grammy-winning or nominated musicians for the album since 1983

3) W.C. Handy Award winners from BLUES FOUNDATION since 1980

4) A blues musician who won the Blues Music Awards from 2006.
